Maintenance and cleaning

The aluminum profiles that make up Basmat entrance mats undergo a passivation treatment, giving them a matte finish that protects against corrosion and prevents dirt from accumulating easily.

There is no need to lift a Basmat mat to clean it; a vacuum cleaner is all that is required. Any stains can be removed using standard cleaning products. If the finish strips become worn or damaged, they can be easily replaced.

Mats from other manufacturers must be lifted or removed for cleaning—a task often neglected due to their significant weight and size. Consequently, only superficial cleaning is usually performed, leaving dirt to accumulate in the mat well. Basmat helps save time and reduce maintenance costs.
